Can other courses that involve just as much writing, like some social science courses, be used to substitute English.
If so, where?
I don’t really mind taking English. It’s just that it is not a requirement here in Canada.. and if there are some schools there that don’t require it, I’d rather take courses that interest me.

I am interesting in going to medical school, but seeing as i live in Canada it will be very difficult. Anyone have any suggestions of back up professions which are medical related and pay well? Please mention the education requirements as well.

I live in maryland , united states. I want to go to Mcmaster university for school. Then go to that medical school and be come a doctor in Canada. Every one says i should stay in america and be a doctor here. I don’t no what to do.

I was just wondering how qualified this school is. If I graduated from this program would I be as comptent as those who graduate from more popular schools. I know students from dominica Medical school do there residency in the U.S, but do these students struggle when compared to students who did their training in the U.S? I am in the Nanotechnology Engineering program at the University of Waterloo, which is the best engineering program at the best engineering institution in Canada.

I am planning to take some of my pre-med courses like Biology and Immunology at my University. Would it make a difference if my university is not that well known for undergraduate studies in sciences? Or does my MCAT score compensate for the quality of my university?

Does anyone know where I can find some nice, simple, clear information on the high school grade and course requirements for getting into university itself, plus medical school in Canada?

So i’m in Canada persuing my B.Sc. I’m currently a first-year student. What kind of GPA do accredited medical schools in the caribbean require? Are there any disadvantages for when i come back to Canada after completing my MD? Also, when do you think i should start volunteering?
Also, if i write my MCAT in my second year, do i not need to complete my undergrad if i get accepted?
