I’m still in high school, but I have plans to get into the guaranteed admission program at the University of Pittsburgh. (You have to keep a certain GPA while getting a bachelors degree there, and then they keep a spot open for you at one of their graduate schools) If I were smart enough to get into the program and I successfully earned my MD, how would I go about getting to work at a prestigious research hospital? I’m thinking a hospital like the John Hopkins hospital.
I don’t mean the PHD/MD program(Although that would be ideal for me, it’s so competitive that I’m afraid I don’t have what it takes), I mean you get your bachelors degree and then they let you into the medical school. No PHDs involved.

I’m applying to university this year and I’m really confused. Apparently I don’t need to take sciences in university to get into medical school, ok fine, but wouldn’t that give me a disadvantage once I get into med school? I want to be well prepared for med school but how can I without taking sciences? I still plan on going into the faculty of sciences or the faculty of health sciences but again I don’t know which one of those will be good to take.
